Typical waits by permit

Days from filing the application to the decision. “Middle half” is the range where half of all decided cases fall. Numbers are rounded to 5 days and updated weekly, and only shown once enough people have shared a case.

Takes 30 seconds. You'll get a private link to add the decision later.

What we keep: the permit type, where you applied, the month you applied, and how many days the decision took. Never your name, nationality, application number or exact dates. Whether you were approved is kept but never shown.

Spam protection: we count submissions per network address per day using a scrambled code that changes daily and is deleted the next day. Your address itself is never stored.

What others see: only rounded statistics for groups of at least 5 people (10 for single embassies), updated weekly. Full details.

These numbers come only from people who chose to share them, so they can be skewed. They aren't official. For your own case, ask the Ministry of the Interior, and see what to do if the ministry is late.
