General information, not advice

New in CZ explains Czech rules in plain English. It is general information, not legal or professional advice, and it doesn't create any client relationship. Your situation may differ from the examples here. For decisions about your own case, ask the authority involved, a lawyer, or one of the free advice services the guides mention.

New in CZ is a private, non-commercial project. It isn't connected to the Ministry of the Interior, any health insurer or any other Czech authority.

Accuracy

We check every rule against the law or an official page and link to it. Each guide shows the date its facts were last checked. Rules change, though, sometimes without much notice.

Liability

We work carefully, but we can't guarantee that everything is complete, current or right for your situation. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for decisions made on the basis of this site. This doesn't limit any rights you have under Czech or EU consumer law.

Template letters

You may use and adapt the template letters freely. Check that they fit your situation before you send them.

Links to other websites

We link to official pages and other services we think are useful. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content.

Using our content

You're welcome to link to any page and to quote short passages with a link back.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Czech law applies.
